Obituary

PAXTON: Judith A. (Brosky) Butler, 72, of Paxton, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 25th surrounded by her entire family at St. Vincent's Hospital in Worcester, MA.

Judy leaves her husband of 52 years, Dr. Eugene W. Butler, her daughters Kimberley Paquette and her husband Chris of Holden, Lisa Fagan and her husband Dennis of Leicester, her sons Christopher Butler and his wife Carolyn of Rutland, Johnathan Butler of Holden, Timothy Butler and his wife Liz of Leicester and Mark Butler and his wife Melissa of Buffalo, her brother Jerrold "Jay" Brosky of AZ., 10 grandchildren: Zachary, Sarah, her fiance Jeff, and Andrew Paquette, Matthew and Nicholas Butler, Ryan and Alexa Butler, Victoria and Alexandria Butler, Emilia and her mother Joanna Bialy, nieces, nephews and her beloved cats, Lexi & Lacey. She is predeceased by her brother John "Jack" Brosky in 2006.

She was the daughter of John and Helen (Lucy) Brosky and later graduated from Notre Dame Academy, Worcester and Anna Maria College, Paxton. Judy was a longtime real estate broker and owner of Judy Butler Real Estate of Leicester and currently was working for ERA Key Realty Services in Worcester until her passing. She was a member of the Greater Worcester Board of Realtors for over 37 years and received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010 for continuous membership. Judy was a member of St. Pius X Parish in Leicester. Above all, Judy loved spending time with her husband and family, especially being involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Judy will be fondly remembered for her holiday cooking, family parties, attention to detail and dedication to those she loved. Judy enjoyed the beach, boating on Lake Winnipesaukee, dancing (especially the Polka), managing the James Street Car Wash with two of her sons. The family would like to thank the CNAs, cafeteria, janitorial, cleaning staff, nurses, and the many doctors at St. Vincent Hospital, including the her periotoneal dialysis team, as well as the staff at Whittier Rehab, Jewish Community Center, and Fairlawn Rehab for their compassionate care over the years.

Calling hours are Friday, June 1st from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Morin Funeral Home, 1131 Main Street, Leicester. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 2 with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main St., Leicester. Burial will be private and at a later date.
