WORCESTER___Stephen C. Gosk died peacefully May 24, 2018 at Oakdale Rehabilitation Center in West Boylston, MA. He was 97 years old born June 30, 1920 to Sabena and Kazimer Gosk and lived all his life as a business man in the Worcester area.
He served honorably as a World War II veteran discharged from the Army in 1944. Stephen was elected President of the Auburn Lions Club in 1961 and in 1962 founded the Worcester Polish Golf Association at Hillcrest Country Club. He is predeceased by his dear wife of forty years Mary, dear friend Helen Alisch and three brothers Walter, Chester and Charlie. He leaves his son Ronald, three grandchildren Michael, Stephanie and Chelsie; and six great-grandchildren Charlie, Fiona, Louisa, Harper, Quinn and Ebba.
A Memorial Mass will be observed on Thursday May 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM in North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Stephen’s name to North American Martyrs Church. HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL SERVICE,33 Ward St., is assisting the family.
