Catherine “Cathy” Anne (Koske) Desroches, age 61, entered the gates of heaven and the arms of Jesus on May 18th, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 8, 1956 in Holyoke, MA, the daughter of Alice (Fontaine) Koske of South Hadley and the late Charles Koske. Cathy grew up in South Hadley and was a graduate of South Hadley high school, Class of 1975. She received her associate's degree from Holyoke Community College in 1978. Cathy was a bondservant of God, the Co-founder and Celebrant of Milestone Ministries & My Father's House, serving the homeless of Western MA. Her ministry included visiting with the elderly and her passion was serving her family. Cathy married her high school sweetheart Jack Desroches on May 3, 1980 and is survived by her husband of 38 years, Pastor Jack Desroches of Palmer; her daughter Jennifer Ledoux and her husband Bryan of Chicopee; her son Nicholas “Nick” Desroches of Granby; 4 brothers, Charles Koske of Holland, Richard Koske of South Hadley, David Koske of West Hampton and Stephen Koske of South Hadley. She also is survived by her two beloved grandchildren Abby and Carter. We celebrate Cathy's life this Thursday, May 24th at Grise Funeral Home in Chicopee from 4:00pm-7:00pm, Service at 6:30pm. Dinner follows at the Collegian Court. Burial will be private for family in Mater Delarosa Cemetery in South Hadley at a later date. We will also be celebrating her life on June 16th at My Father's House in Palmer MA from 12:00pm-5:00pm. The Grise Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
