THOMPSON, CT / WORCESTER – James F. Kenney, III, 58, of Alix Drive, died Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carol J. (Neale) Kenney of Thompson, CT; three children, Brian M. Kenney and his wife Noelle of Worcester, Megan C. Kenney of Thompson, CT, and Sara M. Kenney of Worcester; his mother, Dorothy (Lloyd) Fitzgerald of Leicester; four brothers, Michael Kenney and his wife Donna of Charlton, Jack Kenney and his wife Kimberly of Brookfield, David Kenney and his wife Peg of Worcester, and Daniel Kenney and his wife Joann of CT; a sister, Kathleen Fitzgerald of Texas; a grandson, Vincent Antonio Kenney of Worcester; nephews, nieces, and friends. He was born in Worcester, son of the late James F. Kenney Jr., and lived in Worcester before moving to Thompson 3 years ago.
Mr. Kenney was a construction supervisor working for several companies building bridges for many years. He enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing.
Calling hours are Tuesday, May 22, 2018, from 9-11 a.m. at Alfred Roy and Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St., Worcester. A prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. at the conclusion of calling hours.
