Mrs. Antoinette P. (Damato) Scola, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 16th at St Francis Home.
Antoinette was born on August 9, 1928 in Indianola, Missippi a daughter of the late Samuel and Filomena (Gerardi) Damato. Loving wife to the late Ralph Scola Sr.
She worked as a hairdresser in the City of Worcester for over twenty-five years.
Antoinette’s family would like to thank all her caretakers at St Francis Home’s Alzheimer’s Unit for there compassion and professionalism.
She is survived by her son, Ralph Scola Jr. and his wife Lorraine, four grandchildren, Daniel Scola, Briana Scola, Lisa Scola and Richard Scola Jr.; a sister, Nancy J. Rossi, one brother, William Damato and his wife Kathleen, and many nieces and nephews.
Antoinette was pre-deceased by her two sons, Michael and Richard Scola, her brothers, Samuel, Charles, and Peter Damato, and her sisters, Mary Germaine and Laura Damato.
Calling hours will be on Friday, May 18th from 09:00 am to 11:00am at FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch St, Worcester. A prayer service will begin at 11:00am in the Funeral Home.
