WORCESTER___ Mitchell J. Starbard, Sr., 62, of Worcester passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Friday, May 11, 2018. He leaves his wife and best friend of thirty-six years, Jane (Reeks) Starbard. He leaves his children; two daughters, Bria and Tiffany; two sons Mitchell and Nicholas. He also leaves brothers, Richard Starbard and his wife Silvia and Dennis Starbard. He also leaves sisters Rosalind Miano and her husband James and Donna Field and her husband Deacon Dick and sister in law Lynn Starbard; ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Gary Starbard and Donald E. Starbard Jr. He was born in Worcester a son of Donald Sr. and Rosalind (Costello) Starbard.
Mr. Starbard worked as a machine operator for Industrial Polymers, Inc until he retired due to illness. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr Starbard loved his family, friends, Christmas and going to the beach every summer and walking in the sand with his wife.
The funeral Mass will be Friday, May 18, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. in St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 695 Southbridge Street. Burial will be private. HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street. is assisting the family with arrangements. Memories and condolences may be left on the guestbook.
