Obituary

WORCESTER__ Zygmunt Klimczuk, 91, of Worcester died peacefully on Saturday, May 5, 2018 in St. Francis Rehab and Nursing Center.

He leaves his devoted wife of 58 years Helena (Jablonski) Klimczuk, a son, Roman T. Klimczuk and his wife Katherine of Sturbridge and their children Kimberly and her husband Peter Dateo, Brian and Cassandra, a daughter, Eva Gleba and her husband Stanley of Holden and their children Jessica and Jason. He also leaves a great-granddaughter Arya. Zygmunt's first wife died in 1960. He was also predeceased by a nephew, Tadeusz "Teddy" Jaszczolt of Worcester and by two sisters in Poland. He was born and raised in Poland, son of Julian and Bronislawa (Siemienczuk) Klimczuk and immigrated to the United States in 1964. Mr. Klimczuk retired in 1989 and while retired had enjoyed fishing and watching local hockey teams play. He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Francis Rehab for the wonderful care he received.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday May 9, 2018 with a Mass at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours. HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street is directing funeral arrangements.
