LEICESTER; Olivette M. (Robichaud) Sibley,83, formerly of 26 So. Main St.,Leicester, died Friday, May 4 at Life Care Center of Auburn.
She was the wife of David W. Sibley who died in 2009. She leaves her brother Alfred Robichaud of Bradenton, FL., several nieces and nephews, including her niece and caretaker Andrea Burke of Spencer. She is predeceased by her brothers Gerard, Robert and Raymond Robichaud and sisters Evelyn Stanikmas and Yvonne LaPointe.
Born in Rumford, ME., she was the daughter of Vital and Eleanor M. (Arsenault) Robichaud and later attended Worcester Girls Trade School..
She was a longtime tailor and seamstress at St. Joseph Abbey's Holy Rood Guild, retiring in 1997.
She was a former member of St. Pius X Church in Leicester where she was a Eucharistic Minister and once taught CCD.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 8 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. in the funeral home on Tuesday. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Spencer.
