Antonio Pizzi of Medford died on Monday, April 30, at Tufts Medical Center of Boston. Born and raised in Miranda, Italy, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Carolina (Tortola) Pizzi. Antonio came to the U.S. in 1966 and settled in Medford.
Antonio was the beloved husband of the late Angiolina (Marucci) Pizzi, and the devoted father of Filomena and Lucia Pizzi, both of Medford. He was the loving grandfather of Gerald Vasquez and his spouse Christopher Spoon, and dear brother of Angelo Pizzi and his wife Anna, all of Medford, Dominic Pizzi and his wife Teresa of Hanson, and the late Maria Ferrante and Santina D'Agostino. Antonio is also survived by 13 loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, on Saturday, May 5 at 11:30 AM followed by burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford from 9 through 11 AM prior to the mass.
