Evangelia D. Karamanos, 70, of Worcester died Thursday, April 5th at home surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her husband of 43 years, Demetre J. Karamanos; a son, John D. Karamanos; a daughter, Kathy Kent and her husband, Brian all of Worcester; a brother and four sisters all of Greece; four grandchildren, Caitlin, Jamie, Demetre and Connor; a great grandchild, Dean and many nieces and nephews.
She was born in Greece the daughter of Dimos and Helen (Pichikos) Voles and immigrated to the United States in 1975.
Her funeral is Monday, April 9th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 11:00 AM in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 until 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
