Obituary

It is with heartfelt sorrow we announce Craig Macklin, 75, of Worcester, died Monday March 26th with his loving family at his side.  He is survived by his wife, Maureen V. (Grimes) Macklin; his daughters, Cheryl Macklin of Rapid City, SD and Jana Giguere and her husband, Harold of Boston; his step-son, Albert Lemire III of Nashua, NH; two-step daughters, Anissa Macklin of Barre and Amy Aviles of Worcester; two brothers, Kevin Macklin and his wife, Donna of Millbury and Darryl Macklin and his wife, Melissa of Morgantown, NC; his sister, Sharron Bouvier and her husband, Edward of Northborough; five granddaughters; two great-granddaughters and many nephews and nieces.  His sister, Kim Salluce and his granddaughter, Nicole Goldstein, predeceased him.

Craig was born in Worcester, the son of Thomas J. and Rose P. (Houde) Macklin.  Mr. Macklin served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.  He had worked as a commercial realtor for many years before retiring.  Craig loved sailing, cooking and family gatherings but most of all he loved time spent with his family, especially his granddaughters.  He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his devotion to family and his ever-present smile.

His funeral is Saturday, April 7th at 2:00 p.m. in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue.  A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral.
