Obituary




Worcester- Anne M. (Ford) Loverro, 95, of Worcester passed away Wednesday, March 14 at the Millbury Healthcare Center on her birthday.

Her husband , Anthony C. Loverro passed away in 1989. She leaves six nieces and nephews, Mary R. and Thomas G. Foley of Worcester, Paul F. and Linda A. Angers of Spencer, Richard E. and Linda M. Angers of Millbury, Theresa M. Butkiewicz of Worcester, Jeanne M. Angers of Worcester and John J. and Kathleen Carney of Worcester; niece in law, Ann M. Carney of Worcester and many grand-nieces and nephews. Four sisters, Marguerite Ford, Theresa Carney, Mary Angers and Loretta Ford predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Thomas J. and Bridget T. (Kelly) Ford and graduated from, Sacred Heart Academy.

Anne was an office clerk at Pratt and Inman Company for many years. Anne was a life-long member of Our Lady of Loreto Church. She was active in the woman’s guild and past president and treasurer of the church’s former leisure club. She also enjoyed volunteering three days a week delivering mail at St. Vincent Hospital for 25 years.

A Funeral will be held Monday, March 19 from Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10:00am in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Rd. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Sunday, March 18 from 1:00 to 3:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Diocese of Worcester c/o the Daily Mass Audio and Video Production, 49 Elm St., Worcester, 01609 or to Our Lady of Loretto Church.
