Obituary

Bernadette R. (Jolicoeur) Miller, 93, formerly of Bleeker Street, died peacefully with family by her side on Friday March 2, 2018 in Beaumont Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center. Her husband of 51 years, Gerard A. Miller died in 1999. Bernadette was also predeceased by a daughter, Denise E. McInnes who died on June 13, 2017.

She leaves her children, Paul G. Miller of Leeds, Ma., Mary L. Belton and her husband Stephen of Lantana, Fl., Richard L. Miller and his wife Denise of Goodview, VA and Michelle T. Loiselle and her husband David T. of Worcester; a son-in-law, Michael McInnes of Worcester; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, a brother, Richard G. Jolicoeur and his wife Gretchen of Shrewsbury and several nieces and nephews. Bernadette was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Joseph G. and Yvonne A. (Bernard) Jolicoeur and has lived here all of her life. She was a graduate of St. Stephen’s High School.

Mrs. Miller worked as a secretary 11 years for Lutheran Adult Day Health Center and retired in 1992. Before then she worked for Merrill & Usher Co., and was a courtesy booth clerk for Iandoli Supermarkets. Mrs. Miller was a volunteer cuddler in the nursery at St. Vincent Hospital. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Church and its former Women’s Club.

The funeral for Bernadette will be held on Tuesday March 6, 2018 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. in St. Joseph Church at Holy Family Parish, 35 Hamilton Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday March 6, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. in the funeral home.
