Obituary


Byron, GA - Brett C. Jarvis passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 23,2018 at
home.
Brett is survived by his wife of 24 years, Tia Maria (Trautner) Jarvis and their son Sean
Jarvis of Byron, GA, his daughter Sara Jarvis of Chattanooga, TN; his sons, Senior Airman Tyler
Jarvis, USAF and his fiance Sofia Rodriguez of Chattanooga,TN and Staff Sergeant Kyle Jarvis,
USAF and his wife Taylor of Warner Robins, GA , who are expecting a baby this fall. He also
leaves his sisters Jennifer Lapointe and her husband Edward of Dudley, MA and Kimberly Pino
and her husband Jonathan of West Boylston, MA; his sisters in law, Heather Fallon and Rhea
Trautner both of Fitchburg, MA, his father in law Raymond Trautner of Lodi, NJ, his nieces and
nephews, an aunt and uncle and his cousins.
Brett was born and raised in Worcester, MA, the son of the late Bruce R. and Nancy
(Freudenthal) Jarvis. He was a graduate of Burncoat Senior High and ITT Technical Institute,
licensing in HVAC. Brett worked for many years as a maintenance manager for Mid America
Apartments, while also working in the HVAC field. He was employed by Buzzell Plumbing,
Heating and Air, Warner Robins, GA at the time of his death.
Brett made Georgia his home over 25 years ago, where he developed his unmistakable
New England - Southern accent. Brett was a funny guy with a great sense of humor. He was a
kind soul who would help any one that asked. He had hands of gold and could fix just about
anything. In his free time, Brett could be found listening to his vast collection of music while
building and repairing things. He enjoyed connecting with his over 1,000 Facebook Friends
across the world. Most of all, Brett enjoyed spending time at home and at the beach with his
best friend Tia and the time he spent with his children and his dog Rusty, who was always by
his side. He was so very proud of his children and was especially excited to become a
grandfather this September.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 11:00 am at Trinity Lutheran
Church, 73 Lancaster St., Worcester, MA 01609. Burial will be private.There will be no calling
hours. Donations in Brett’s memory may be made to FOPAS, Friends of Perry Animal Shelter,
