Obituary




WEBSTER-Jeanine M. Fahrbach, 51, of Webster, died Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Rose Monahan Hospice Residence after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was born in the Bronx, NY, daughter of Margaret (Vollmer) Fahrbach and the late George F. Fahrbach, Jr. Jeanine graduated from Southampton High School in NY and Nichols College in Dudley, MA. Jeanine worked in retail management for many years at various companies including Olympia Sports in Hyannis, and most recently at Gymboree in Auburn, until retiring due to her illness.

Jeanine loved the outdoors, whether it be tending to her flower gardens in the yard, visiting the beach or running. She participated in triathlons, half marathons and completed The Hampton Marathon. She participated in several Relay for Life events where she helped raise money for her team; Friends and Family for a Cure.

Jeanine’s number one love of her life was her daughter Amelya. Being a mom meant the world to her and she was affectionally known as “the fun one”. Jeanine was also looking forward to the birth of her great nephew in June.
Jeanine leaves her wife Amy-Beth Bernard, who has been in her life for over 25 years, her daughter Amelya Bernard at home, her mother, Margaret Fahrbach who lives in NY, her brother, George F., III and his wife Deb of West Lake, OH, two sisters, Margaret Castellano, wife of the late Frank Castellano of Wading River, NY and Ellen Bonaiuto and her husband Robert of Davie, FL and her beloved aunt, Dorothy Winkler of Southampton, NY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a great nephew, her step mother, Sandra Nowell of West Hampton, NY, two step brothers, John Jones of Brooklyn, NY and Michael Jones of Needham, MA, her best friend of 30 years, Beth Jacques of Marlborough, many cousins and good friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, February 26th at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 200 Greenwood Street, Worcester. Burial will follow at All Faith’s Cemetery, Worcester. Visiting hours are Sunday, February 25th from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Lindquist Lundin Funeral Home, 36 Butler Street, Worcester, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church or to Relay for Life-Friends and Family for a Cure by visiting relay.acsevents.org
