EAST BROOKFIELD___Carol G. (Erickson) Bain, 70, of East Brookfield, died peacefully at home with her family on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Her husband, Thomas D. Bain, Sr., died in 2002.
She leaves a son, Thomas D. Bain, Jr., and his wife Jodi of East Brookfield; three daughters, Brenda Haley and her husband James of Holden; Doreen Samara and her husband Paul of Worcester and Sandra Kelly and her husband Christopher of Worcester, 11 grandchildren, Ryan, Destiny, Zachary, Haley, Tori, Brianna, Paige, Thomas, Caitlyn, Alexis and Tyler, two great-grandchildren, Ryan Jr, and Hadley; four brothers Rodney D., Allen A., Richard G. and James Erickson all of Worcester; three sisters, Nancy Hicks, Donna Hall both of Worcester and Kim Erickson – Smith of New Hampshire and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by a brother John O. Erickson and a sister Sandra V. Erickson. Carol was born in Caribou, Maine a daughter of the later John and Gertrude P. (Dickinson) Erickson.
Mrs. Bain was a bookkeeper 36 years and had worked for Edwards Paint and most recently for Economy Paint Supply Co., before retiring. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Carol enjoyed bingo and casino visits. She also loved going to Old Orchard Beach with family in the summer.
The funeral will be held on Friday February 16, 2018 at 10:00 A.M.in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, Worcester. Calling hours in the funeral home are Thursday February 15, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
