Olga (Nastou) Papakosta, 91, of Worcester, died Saturday, February 10th in UMass Hospital. Her husband was the late Constantinos Papakosta. She is survived by two sons, Peter Papakosta and his wife, Vasiliki of Tampa, FL and Chris Papakosta of Worcester; her daughter, Evelyn Goodman and her husband, Randy of Plantation, FL; two sisters, Rita Lamaris and Bia Papadimitriou both of Ioannana, Greece; and two grandsons, Reed and Tyler Goodman. She was predeceased by her son, John Papakosta and a sister, Vasiliki Jano.
She was born in Ioannana, Epirus, Greece the daughter of Yanni and Fotini (Dralius) Nastou. Olga had worked with her husband at Koco's Spa and later at the former Worcester City Hospital cafeteria. She was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street. Her funeral is Thursday, February 15th with a service at 11:00 a.m. in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
