Obituary

Anthoula Woulas, 89, of Worcester died Friday, February 9th in Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Her husband of 55 years, Alexandros D. Woulas died in 2007. She leaves a daughter, Valerie Kalkounis of Worcester; a son, Bill Woulas and his wife, Kim of Melbourne, FL; two brothers, Theodore Angelopoulos and Angelo Angelopoulos both of Greece; 5 grandchildren, Gina, Kosta, Christina, Alexander and Karalyn; 7 great grandchildren; Jalynn, Nahvin, Katerina, James, Elijah, Bella and William and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Dimitrios and a sister, Stavroula.
She was born in Plesion, Epiros, Greece the daughter of Petro and Eleni (Ninos) Angelopoulos. Anthoula was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral and its Ladies Philoptochos Society. She was an accomplished seamstress. Mrs. Woulas owned and operated A & V Pizza for 25 years with her husband.
Her funeral is Wednesday, February 14th with a service at 11:00 AM in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street with a calling hour from 10:00 AM until the start of the service. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral Special Gifts Fund, 102 Russell Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
