Obituary

Worcester: Theodore O. "Ted" Rock, 95, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the Lutheran Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center. He leaves his wife of 73 years Ingrid (Anderson) Rock; two sons-Dennis Rock and his wife Kathy of Bradenton FL and Donald Rock and his wife Anne of Avon, CT ; three grandchildren Jennifer (Rock) Caouette and her husband Christopher of Minot, ME and Daniel and Andrew Rock of Avon, CT.
Ted was born September, 4, 1922 in Spencer, son of the late Arthur and Anna (Bouvier) Rock. He attended schools in Millbury, Sutton and Worcester and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII, earning the Bronze Star. He worked for over forty years as a cast molder at the former Norton Company. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, The Worcester-Auburn Masonic Lodge and was a committee member for Boy Scout Troop 63 of Worcester. Ted enjoyed his family, playing cards, tinkering on small engines and had a great sense of humor.
A calling hour will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 11:00-12:00 noon in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Emanuel Lutheran Church 200 Greenwood St. Worcester. Burial will follow in All Faiths Cemetery.
