Patricia A. (Listewnik) Briggs, 76, of Auburn died on Monday January 29, 2018 in St. Vincent Hospital.
Her husband of 41 years, James Douglas Briggs died in 2005.
Patricia is survived by her children, Eileen M. Hillis and her husband Matthew of Auburn; Christopher M. Briggs and his wife Michelle of Glendora, CA., Michael A. Briggs and his wife Amy of Sturbridge and Jennifer A. Lasley – Keenan and her husband Jeffrey of Auburn; nine grandchildren, Alexander, Kathleen, Hanna, Kyleigh, Zachary, Samantha, James, Peter and Archibald, a sister, Joyce Flynn and her husband Edward of Shrewsbury and many nieces and nephews. Patricia was born and raised in Worcester a daughter of the late Alexander and Nellie (Gladys) Listewnik and has lived in Auburn for most of her life.
Mrs. Briggs was a graduate of Worcester State College and worked as a legal secretary. Patricia loved spending time with her family, cousins weekend on the Cape, playing the piano and adding to her Santa Claus collection, but most of all enjoying time with her grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Friday February 2, 2018 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, Worcester with a Mass at 10:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. Calling hours in the funeral home are Thursday February 1, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
