Dorothy M. (Nartowicz) Kirby, 89, formerly of Southampton, died Sunday, January 21, 2018 in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after a period of declining health. Her husband of 42 years, Daniel M. Kirby died in 2006.
She leaves a son, Timothy J. Kirby and his wife Jean M. Kirby of Oxford, with whom she lived; and 2 grandsons, Patrick C. Kirby and Sean J. Kirby
She was born on March 28, 1928, daughter of John and Stanislawa (Dembek) Nartowicz. She graduated from Deerfield High School in 1946.
Mrs. Kirby was a homemaker. She attended Saint Joseph Basilica in Webster since moving to Oxford.
The funeral will be held Thursday, January 25, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 E. Main St., Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street, Webster. Burial will be in Stanislaus Cemetery in Deerfield at a later date. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, January 24, in the funeral home.
