Worcester – Beatrice M. (Patenaude) Reidy, 98, of Worcester, died on Thursday, January 18th in the Worcester Health Care Center after an illness.
Beatrice was married to the late Donald F. Reidy, who died in 1960. She is survived by a daughter, Carol Lusignan and her husband Richard of Port St. Lucie, FL and 2 grandsons, Michael and Steven Sanderson.
Beatrice was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Horace and Alphonsine (Primeau) Patenaude and is also predeceased by 2 sisters, Mercedes LeBlanc and Bernadette Charbonneau. She worked as a book binder for the J.S. Wesby & Sons Company and retired in 1982 and was a member of Christ the King Church.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 23rd from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a Mass at 11 AM in Christ the King Church 1052 Pleasant St. Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Mausoleum. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 in the funeral home before the funeral.
