WORCESTER - Mr. Frederick G. Lewis, 83, passed away Thursday January 11th at the Worcester Health Care Center.
Frederick was born on March 6, 1934 in Quincy, Massachusetts a son of the late John and Helen (Kalil) Lewis.
A lifelong resident, Frederick was educated through the Worcester schools graduating from Commerce High School. Frederick’s hobbies included riding motorcycles, fixing and repairing items for friends and community organizations and taking on home projects.
He worked for Raytheon Company for many years and most recently up until his retirement was a bus driver for a local transportation company.
Fred was very involved in his church, Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Worcester and St John’s prayer group and Pro-life organizations. He dedicated his life through God in helping others through various prayer groups and charitable organizations.
Fred is survived by two godsons, Rodney Haddad and James Agby; and many friends in his church community.
His funeral will take place on Tuesday, January 16th at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Visiting hours will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am in the Church. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
