Wilbur L. Stovall

W. L. “Webb” Stovall, a longtime Prosser resident, passed away on December 4, 2017 at Prosser Memorial Hospital. He was born on August 17, 1926 to Floyd Ida and Ruby (Cole) Stovall in Peola, Washington and was raised and educated in Toppenish. After graduation he served in the US Navy for five years during World War II.

In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and tinkering in his shop. He was a retiree of WSU IAREC where he had worked many years as an electrician and machinist.

Webb is survived by his sisters, Jewell Ward and Pearl Pagano; his daughters, Jeannie Slack and Roza Cromwell (Bob); his son, Oren Stovall (Sheryl); eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; his brothers, James Stovall and Lloyd Stovall; his sister, Doris Donfield; his first wife, Phyllis (Leander) Stovall and his second wife, Norma (Wilcox) Stovall; and his daughter, Pamela Jo Stovall.
