FALL RIVER… Frank Owsney, 86, of Fall River passed away January 3, 2018 at St. Anne’s Hospital in Fall River.
He was the widower of Margaret (Silvia) Owsney.
Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late John and Magdalena (Zimbo) Owsney and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
Mr. Owsney worked as a Dyer at Pioneer Finishing for over 20 years, retiring in 1996. He enjoyed walking around parks and the city and playing softball.
Survivors include his sons, Michael “M.O.” Owsney and his wife Lisa of Fall River and Steven Owsney and his companion Brian Oliveira of Fall River, his daughter, Melissa Owsney and her wife Nellie Medeiros of Fall River, 2 grandchildren; Justin Owsney and his wife Nicole and Colyns Texeira, several nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late John and Stanley Owsney.
