WORCESTER___Joseph R. Barch, 77, of Worcester passed away in his home on December 28, 2017. His wife, Christine (Pechie) Barch died in 1992.
He leaves his brother, Michael F. Barch, Sr, and his wife Janet of Rutland and several beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Marie Quail. Joseph was born in Worcester, a son of Michael Stanley and Angelina M. (Comforti) Barch and has lived here all of his life.
Mr. Barch was a machinist for Killeen Machine Tool Co., Inc. for many years before he retired. Joseph loved his 4th of July vacations in Bourne, MA as a member of the Worcester Surf Casting Club and his family cookouts and holiday parties.
A calling hour will be held on Wednesday January 3, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St. At the conclusion of the calling hour Joseph’s procession will depart for Worcester County Memorial Park where his graveside service will be held.
