WORCESTER__Daniel J. Reardon. 83, of Worcester died in UMass Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, December 28, 2017, after a short illness. A lifelong Worcester resident, he was the son of John and Katherine (Bowler) Reardon. He was educated in Worcester Schools and made his home with his sister Elaine Monfreda and her husband Frank until her death. For the past seven years, he was in the excellent care of Coleen and Jamie Smith. He enjoyed watching Turner Classic Movies and attended St. Francis Day Program daily for over twenty-two years. He is survived by his brother Paul Reardon and his wife Marlene of South Daytona, FL, many cousins including Mary Ellen Mahoney of Harwich, Ma. He was known as a kind compassionate person who will be truly missed by his family, and friends.
Friends and family are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in St. John Church 40 Temple St. A calling hour in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester will be on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
