Harvey E. Bienvenue, formerly of Flaxfield Rd., Dudley passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at Lanessa Extended Care in Webster.
He was born April 16, 1925 son of the late Herbert and Anna (Lavasseur) Bienvenue.
Harvey was the devoted husband of 65 years to Louiselle Gilbert (Berthiaume) Bienvenue and also leaves behind a daughter, Cynthia Louiselle Long and her husband John of Ohio and two grandchildren; Zachary Nowicki and his wife Bre and Andrew Nowicki, two great grandchildren; Kaley Elsie Nowicki and Claire Nicole Nowicki and a sister, Annabelle St. Germain.
Harvey worked in the family business, “Welcome’s Spa” an ice cream and soda shop on East Main St in the 1950’s with his mother, Anna preceding and after the death of his father.
He then worked as a newspaper pressman for 46 years at the Webster Times, Worcester Telegram & Gazette and New York Times Company.
Harvey was a lifelong and active member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Webster, he enjoyed landscaping and gardening and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 18 East Main St., Webster with burial to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
