Sean M. Tipton, age 45, of Brockton, formerly of Mansfield, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at home.
Born in Boston, MA on January26, 1972, he was a son of the late Michael and Barbara (Hayes) Tipton.
Sean grew up in Mansfield and was a 1990 graduate of Mansfield High School. He faithfully served his country for many years in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably with the rank of Staff Sargent.
Sean had made his home in Brockton for the past two years and was a former longtime resident of Mansfield. His hobbies included sewing, and he was also an outstanding cook.
He is survived by his sister Patricia, and his cousins Rens F. Hayes, III, Michael J. Hayes, Eric S. Hayes and Brandon G. Hayes, Sr.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend funeral services with military honors on Tuesday, December 26th at 11:00 A.M. at the Massachusetts national Cemetery in Bourne.
Visiting hours are omitted and due to the limitation of flowers allowed at the National Cemetery, donations in his memory may be made to the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans, 17 Court St., Boston, MA 02108
