CHICOPEE – Edward Ray “Eddie” Lengieza, 24, of the Chicopee Falls section of Chicopee, was Called Home on Monday, December 11, 2017. He passed into Eternal Life at his home surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Springfield on February 19, 1993, a beloved son of Mark E. Lengieza, Sr. and Roxanne (LaJeunesse) Lengieza of Chicopee Falls. He was raised in Chicopee, graduated from Chicopee High School in 2011 and was a lifelong resident of Chicopee. In his youth, he was an active soccer and basketball player with the Tiger’s A.C. in Chicopee. He was employed at Panera Bread in Dover, New Hampshire. Eddie was an avid collector of enamel lapel pins and most especially collected many “Phish” pins. He enjoyed listening to music, attending music festivals and also attended many local stand-up comedy shows. In addition to his beloved parents, he leaves his two loving brothers, Mark E. Lengieza, Jr. and his wife, Lexi, of Methuen, MA and John W. Lengieza of Chicopee; his paternal grandmother, Ethel (Lapine) Lengieza of Chicopee; his maternal grandparents, Leo and Cindy (Bruce) LaJeunesse, of Chicopee; and his many dear uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and extended members of the Lengieza and LaJeunesse families. He also leaves his “little buddy”, his cat Stewart. He was predeceased by his loving paternal grandfather, Alexander P. Lengieza who was Called Home on March 31, 2003. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service at 5:30 p.m. during the visiting hours at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. The parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear of the funeral home at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
