Esther M. (Ellis) Duffy, 94, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017 in her home. Her husband of 46 years, Francis W. ‘Frank’ Duffy died October 7, 1989.
She leaves behind five children; Katherine A. Duffy of Worcester, Barbara A. Janitis of Worcester, William F. Duffy of Derry, N.H., Michael E. Duffy of Vestal, N.Y. and Kevin P. Duffy of Spencer, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Esther was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Walter and Florence (Martin) Ellis and lived in Dudley over 26 years and in Webster for 22 years. She was also predeceased by a grandson.
Esther was a sales associate for the L. Farber Co. for many years and retired many years ago. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, a member and past president of the Joshua Place Association, enjoyed knitting and to crochet.
There are no calling hours.
A Memorial Mass will be Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 9 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Rd. in Dudley.
