Obituary




Kathleen F. Nadeau, 72, of Worcester died Wednesday, December 6th in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her husband of 45 years, Kenneth Nadeau; a son, Robert M. Nadeau and his wife, Jennifer (Houle) of Auburn; a daughter, Linda E. Nadeau of Worcester; a brother, Roger R. Talbot of Douglas; a sister, Dorothy Ann Keeler of Westborough; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn S., Delaney K., and Michael W.; a great grandson, Connor Michael and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Roger and Katherine (Kane) Talbot. Mrs. Nadeau graduated from St. Stephen’s High School and attended the Salter School where she obtained her secretarial certificate. Kathleen worked for Cedar Associates for over 30 years as an administrative assistant. Her greatest love was time spent with family and friends. In her younger years, Kathy enjoyed volunteering her time at Jack Barry Little League. She enjoyed her trips to Hampton Beach and Wildwood, NJ with the Martin families and Maine with her sister, Dorothy. Kathleen attended all her grandchildren’s sporting events, she was their number one fan. She always insisted to be seated at the head of the table where she enjoyed and shared in many card games and infinite laughs.
Her funeral is Monday, December 11th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Stephen’s Church, 357 Grafton Street. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday, December 10th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Rose Monahan Hospice Home, 10 Judith Road, Worcester, MA 01602.
