SPENCER: Joseph N. "Buddy" Tetreault, Jr. 62 of G.H.Wilson Rd., died peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 6 in his home.
He leaves his daughter "Cathy" Thomasina Desplaines of Spencer, step daughters Jody Young of Salem and Jenny Weibers and her husband David of Calif., sons Joshua Desplaines and his wife Tabitha of North Brookfield, Jason Young of Worcester and step son Joseph Young of Spencer, his brother John Tetreault and his wife Stephanie of Sterling, grandchildren David, Kora and Tabitha, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother James Tetreault.
Buddy was a machinist at Rand Whitney in Worcester before retiring in 2010. He previously worked on steam engines at Coppus Engineering for many years. Buddy once was a stock car racer and enjoyed working on cars with his friends.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Joseph N. and Claire (Paradis) Tetreault, Sr.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, Dec. 17 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, Meadow St., Spencer. There are no calling hours.
