Sharon L. (Wilks) Klopf, age 71, of Norton, formerly of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 4, 2017 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
Born in Boston, MA on March 28, 1946, she was a loving daughter of the late Louis M. Wilks, Sr. and Dorothea (Betts) Lavoie.
Sharon grew up in New Hampshire and Jamaica Plain and was educated in Norton Schools. She had made her home in Norton for the past nine years and previously resided in Attleboro.
Prior to retiring, she had worked as a certified nurse assistant at the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home in Attleboro.
Sharon enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, crossword puzzles, watching old western movies and will fondly be remembered for her sweet tooth for scratch tickets.
She is survived by her devoted children Richard A. Klopf of Attleboro, Kimberly A. Chace and her husband Robert of Norton and Yvette S. Klopf of Attleboro. She was the dear sister of Louis Wilks, Jr. of New Hampshire, Dorothy Wilks of New Hampshire, Gloria O’Donnell of Seekonk, and the late Robert Wilks and Barbara Crowley. She was the cherished grandmother of Ronnie, Jared, Christo, Samantha, Theodore, Jamie and Justin, and the great grandmother of six. She was the former wife of the late Richard A. Klopf, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a service in celebration of her life on Sunday, December 10th from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. at the Community Center at Woodland Meadows, 120 West Main St., Norton. Burial will be private.
