SOMERSET… Manuel T. Pavao, 87, of Somerset passed away November 25, 2017 at St. Anne’s Hospital in Fall River.
He was the husband of Marie (McColligan) Pavao.
Born in Somerset, he was the son of the late Manuel and Isabella (Ferreira) Pavao and had spent all of his life in Somerset.
Mr. Pavao retired as a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Coast Guard. He enjoyed yard work, attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and spending time with his family.
Along with his wife, survivors include his children; Marie Merrill of South Dennis, MA and Thomas Pavao of Fall River, his grandsons; Thomas J. Pavao, Kyle R. Merrill and Colin J. Merrill, his great grandson, Tyler J. Pavao, his sisters; Eva DuPont and Jacqueline Vincent, several nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late Mary Powers and Evelyn Rebello.
