Alfred G. Plouffe, Jr., 57, of Worcester, died Saturday, November 25th surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by two sons, Alfred G. Plouffe, III of Texas and Joseph R. Plouffe of Worcester; two daughters, Jennifer L. Dufresne and Amanda M. Spring; four brothers, Raymond A., Ronald J., Charles A. and George H. Plouffe; two sisters, Karen M. Plouffe and Betty M. Horton all of Worcester and by eight grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his long time companion and friend, Donna M. Campbell.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Alfred G. Plouffe, Sr. and Lucille M. (LeBelle) Plouffe. Alfred was a long time employee of the former J. A. Beriau and Sons Roofing Contractors. He will be remembered as a dedicated hard worker who loved his job and as an avid sports fan and staunch Giants fan; but most of all as a great father, grandfather and friend who was willing to offer a helping hand whenever and wherever needed.
