New Bedford – Jacob X. Martin, age 27, of New Bedford, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017. He was the loving fiancé of Kerri K. Lewis and the beloved son of Loreia (Aranjo) Rodrigues and Thomas Martin.
Born in New Bedford, Jacob was a very good welder as well as a barber and loved doing both jobs. He loved making people laugh and will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents; his fiancé, Kerri K. Lewis; children, Julian Lewis, Ava D. Martin and Layla M. Martin; brother, Corey J. Aranjo; his stepfather, Michael Rodrigues; as well as 4 nephews and 1 niece.
Jacob’s visiting hours will be held Friday evening from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home with a service to begin at 6:30 P.M. His disposition will be private.
