She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Michael and Nora (Gallagher) Reilly; and earned her B.S. in Nursing from Anna Maria College. Betty Ann first worked as a Registered Nurse at Harrington Memorial Hospital and then at St. Vincent Hospital, where she was a member of the Massachusetts Nurses Association. In 1980 Betty Ann with the help of many friends, opened the Paris Cinema (now Cinema 320 at Clark University) as she wanted to share her love of classic and foreign film with others; she also owned and ran The Empire Cafe on Green Street with her sister Noreen. Betty Ann was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Charlton. She loved travel and film, but her greatest joy was time spent with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, free-spirit, kind heart, infectious laugh and a clock that always ran slow.

The world will not be as bright without her. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
