WORCESTER __ Edmund T. Burak, 98, died on Saturday, October 28, 2017. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Genevieve M. (Kulesza) Burak and five siblings. He is survived by his five daughters, Maryanne Damico, Lydia, Christine, Carol and Barbara Burak, eight grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. He was the son of Mary and William Burak.
Born in Millbury and a longtime resident of Worcester, Edmund worked as a professional mechanical engineer at Norton Company for forty-two years. A member of the Army Air Corps during World War II, Edmund was an active member of the Polish American Veterans. He was a lifelong parishioner of Our Lady of Czestochowa parish and an avid outdoor enthusiast.
A calling hour will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in Notre Dame du Lac Assisted Living Chapel, 555 Plantation St. followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 am.
