EDGEWATER, FL/LEICESTER: Barbara I. (Olsen) Priestley 81, died Saturday, Oct. 28 in Holden Rehab & Skilled Nursing Facility.
She leaves her husband of 39 years, Paul A. Priestley, a son Henry F. Kobel and his fiance Debbie Wells of Spencer, her daughters Susan F. Streeter of Holden, June E. Fish and her husband Mitchell of San Diego, Calif. and Lori-Ann Piracci and her husband Valentino of Holden, her brother Raymond H. Olsen of Lone Tree, Col. a sister Fay E. Nieber and her husband Donald of Worcester, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Marjorie Ensign in 2013 and son in law Bill Streeter in 2001.
Barbara was a telecommunication specialist at Allmerica Financial Corp. in Worcester, retiring in 1997.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of Raymond H. and Ethel I. (Cooper) Olsen and later graduated from Leicester High School. She was a Past Worthy Advisor Of Rainbow Girls and a longtime member of the Dolphin Club of Edgewater, Fl.
A Memorial Service for Barbara will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 9am in Holden Chapel, 279 Reservoir St., Holden. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St., Worcester, Ma. 01606.
