Obituary



Robert J. Bullock, 96, a lifelong resident of Worcester died Wednesday, October 25th in Homestead Hall. His wife, Helen B. (Dusoe) Bullock died in 1999. He leaves, two sons, Robert J. Bullock and his wife, Ruth of California and Alan P. Bullock and his wife, Cathy of Worcester; a daughter, Kathleen A. and her husband, Francis “Skip” Wade; daughter-in-law, Janice (Day) Bullock of Worcester; nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Edward P. Bullock and a sister, Rita T. Carew.
He was the son of Edward J. and Alice T. (Dangradio) Bullock and graduated from Worcester Boys Trade. Robert was a World War II veteran serving with the United States Army in the motor pool unit. Mr. Bullock retired after 40 years of dedicated service as a millwright and hydraulics specialist at Wyman Gordon’s Worcester plant. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church, Knights of Columbus Alhambra Council 88, and the Leicester Rod and Gun Club. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting and offering of his exemplary craftsman skills to family and friends. One of his favorite pastimes was spending time with his family.
Robert’s family would like to thank the staff of Homestead Hall and the Jewish Health Care Hospice for the care and compassion they offered during his illness.
His funeral is Friday, November 3rd from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, November 2nd from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Angels Church Building Fund, 1222 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01603.
