WORCESTER: Margaret A. "Peg" (Ryan) LaMalva, 89, died peacefully in her home on Friday, October 20, 2017. Her husband of 28 years, Joseph F. LaMalva, died, June 9, 2006.
She leaves two step-sons, Joseph LaMalva and his wife Linda of Tolland, CT, Jeffrey LaMalva and his wife Karen of Coventry, CT; two step-daughters, Judith O'Connor and her husband James of Worcester; Janice L. Pacenka and her husband James of Sutton; 14 step-grandchildren; 9 step-great grandchildren; and several step-nieces and step-nephews. Another step-daughter, Joanne Charette, predeceased her. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late William L. and Josephine M. (Mooney) Ryan and was a graduate of Commerce High School
Peg worked at Reed & Prince for over 30 years until she retired in 1978. She was a life- long member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church.
A MEMORIAL MASS with Peg’s Ashes will be held at 10 A.M. on FRIDAY, NOV. 3rd in OUR LADY OF THE ROSARY CHURCH, 25 Fales St., followed by burial in St. John’s Cemetery.
