Obituary

“A warm smile is the universal language of kindness” and on Sunday, October 22, 2017, Madeline R. Cirilo, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. Her warm smile will be forever missed.

She was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico on April 21, 1960 a daughter of the Gilberto Cirilo and Alicia Tirado. Mrs. Cirilo worked for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Wingate- Christopher Heights where she enjoyed being able to help the elderly. Family was most important to Madeline and she never forgot a loved one’s birthday. Because of her kind, compassionate ways she took great pride in being able to help people when they needed it. During many a weekend, Madeline enjoyed searching the many treasurers she came across at area flea markets and yard sales and also had an extensive assortment of clowns which she collected throughout the years.

Her kind, gentle and loving spirit will be missed by all, including her husband, Fernando Medina; Four children, Amaryllis Chaves, Gilberto Chaves, Carlos Davila and Samia Medina-Rogers; 8 grandchildren that she spoiled and loved deeply; one great grandchild and one on the way.

Family and friends will gather to honor, remember and celebrate her life on Saturday, October 28th from 2-4pm at the CALLAHAN, FAY & CASWELL FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester.
