WORCESTER-MelissaLynn Zicius, “Missy” 41, of Worcester, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017. Missy was predeceased by her sister, Barbara Ann Amyot. Missy leaves the love of her life of 25 years, Daniel W. Hanzarak, Sr and their two sons, Daniel W. Hanzarak, Jr. and Jonathan R. Hanzarak. She also leaves her parents, Francis M. and Kathleen A. (Steele) Zicius; three sisters, Paula A. Fournier, Kimberly S. Porr and her husband David and Colleen A. Amyot and her partner, Justin Kazmierczak; two brothers, Christopher P. Zicius and Robin D. Zicius and his wife Monica; and several nephews and nieces.
Missy was born in Worcester and graduated from Worcester Vocational Technical High School. She worked as a customer service representative for Fleet Bank for three years. Due to her outgoing personality, she moved onto retail at Children’s Place. Missy loved being a mother and a wife. Her joys were crafts, being outdoors, the beach and always being there for someone at any given moment. MelissaLynn will be missed by many.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 27 from 5-8pm at CALLAHAN, FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street. Worcester. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 pm.
