Malti Sharma, 86 of Hampstead, NH died Friday October 13, 2017 in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH following a brief illness. Mrs. Sharma was born in Kanpur, India on August 5, 1931, a daughter of the late Sir Hargobind Misra and Sita Devi (Thakkur) Misra. She had resided in Hampstead for the past 20 years, formerly living in Rochester, NY and Wake Forest, NC.
She is survived by three children, Dr. Arvind Sharma of Port Charlotte, FL, Manju Vashishta of Wakeforest, NC, and Anju Sharma McCanna of Hampstead, NH.
She is survived by four grandchildren, Dr. Sonia Grover Tasker of Shreveport, LA, Nikhil Sean McCanna of Hampstead, NH, Anubhav Vashishta of Wakeforest, NC, and Meera Sharma McCanna of Hampstead, NH. She is survived by a great granddaughter Raina Diviya Tasker.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. V. N. Sharma in 1986.
A Hindu funeral rite was offered on Sunday October 15, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH with private cremation to follow.
