Zofia (Ptak) Burzynska, 84, of Worcester died Friday, September 29, 2017 in St. Vincent Hospital. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Zabek and her husband Weslaw of Worcester, with whom she lived; her son, Miroslaw Burzynski and his wife Isabella of Burlington, CT; grandchildren, Michelle Barry, Phillip Burzynski and Emili Burzynski and great grandchild, Lucas Barry, all of Connecticut. She was born in Debniki, Poland a daughter of Jan and Alexandra (Lemanska) Ptak.
Mrs. Burzynska retired from Parker Manufacturing, Co. in 1998, after twenty six years as a machine operator. She immigrated to the United States from Poland in 1972. She enjoyed reading, her gardens and spending time with her family. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 with a Mass at 10:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are private.
