Obituary

NORTHBOROUGH – Ralph R. Belezarian, 91 a longtime resident of Northborough, died peacefully on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the UMass Memorial Hospital, Worcester. Born and raised in Boylston, a son of the late Baba and Aroosyag Belezarian.

He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School, RCA Institute in New York and attended Worcester Junior College. Ralph was a proud veteran of World War II, serving with the Army Air Corps for several years in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. Upon his return to the states, Ralph worked in the television repair and sales field for several years and later as a field engineer with with the Raytheon Company fro 25 years before, before retiring. He was a member of the Montachute Lodge AF&AM where he served as past master, Melha Shrine in Springfield and American Legion Post 517.

Sadly, Ralph is the last of his four siblings. He was predeceased by his sisters, Veronica Sarandarian and her husband, John, Sara and Martha Belezarian and his brother, Samuel Belezarian and his wife, Margert. He leaves his nieces, Gail Sarandarian as well as several cousins, including Seth Bilazerian and his wife, Tina.

Private graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 19, at 11 a.m. at Hope Cemetery (Section 111) Worcester. Arrangements are in the care of the CALLAHAN, FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester.
