Jozef W. Bies, 59, of Auburn passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday September 2, 2017 in his home.
He leaves his wife of 33 years, Jolanta D. (Sikora) Bies, three daughters, Magdalene Bies, Anita Bies and Diana J. Bies all of Auburn; a grandson Alex, his mother Marcela Bies of Worcester; a sister, Krystyna Szot and a brother Kazimierz Bies both of Chicago, Ill., and many relatives in this country and in Poland. He was born in Tarnow, Poland son of the late Aleksander Bies and has lived here for 32 years.
Mr. Bies was a skilled machinist and worked many years in Industrial Manufacturing. He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Worcester. Jozef enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a hardworking man who was always willing to lend a helping hand to family ,friends and anyone in need.
The funeral will be held on Saturday September 9, 2017 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours in the funeral home are Friday September 8, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
