MURPHY, Catherine C. of West Roxbury entered eternal rest Sunday, August 13, 2017. Beloved wife of the late James J. Faherty. Cherished mother of Maureen MacDonald and her husband Lawrence of Randolph, Sheila O’Connor and her husband Kevin of Houston TX, James J. and his wife Kathleen of Randolph and the late Michael G. Faherty. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Sheila (Goldfarb) Faherty, 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was the loving longtime companion of John Davenport of West Roxbury. Sister of the late Julianna Joyce. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a dedicated member and officer of the Boston Irish Social Club of West Roxbury. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, WEST ROXBURY on Thursday August 17th at 9:00 a.m. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John Chrysostom Church at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Wednesday August 16th from 4-8 p.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph.
