Rose M. Larson age 91 of Canton, formerly of Dedham passed away suddenly July 14th at the Norwood Hospital. Born in Boston’s South End, she was raised in East Boston and graduated from East Boston High School. She was a longtime resident of Dedham and a 25 year employee of Sears & Roebuck Company. She was devoted to her family and was a loving mother and devoted wife and grandmother. She was a discerning fan of John Stewart and the Daily Show and a longtime fan of the Boston Braves. Rose loved to travel and especially loved vacationing on Marco Island, FLA. Beloved wife of 65 years of Frederick K. Mother of Marianne Larson and her husband Marc Kantrowitz of Canton, Susan Larson-Murphy and her husband Jeff Murphy of Norfolk, Joyce Larson and her husband Paul Mason of Medfield, Kenneth J. Larson and his wife Jeanette Ragnarsson of Everett, and Christine Larson and her husband Tim Maguire of Norwood. Sister of Jim Comunale and his wife Mary of CA, Anna Tobasco and her husband Frank of Woburn and the late Connie Moring. Grandmother of Matt Kantrowitz and Laura Saffold, Sara Rose and Eric Brenner, Amanda Murphy, Justin Murphy, Leah Mason and Ben Mason, Tessa Maguire, and Andrew Maguire. Also survived by a great grandson, Theo Kantrowitz and many loving nieces and nephews. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Monday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Tuesday morning at 10. Burial Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
